1 Pair of 6 Pin Jones Plugs to Phono Socket Adaptors
The Quad II valve power amplifiers produce some of the sweetest sounds you'll ever hear, when fed by a high end modern source.
The Quad IIs have a 'Jones' 6 pin socket for signal input.
These adaptors simply plug in to the 6 pin socket on each Quad II and converts the socket to a standard phono/RCA socket.
Each pair of adaptors contains;-
1 x white
1 x red
Attenuated 2 Phono/RCA Plugs - 2 Phono Plugs Quad 22 EHG CD Cable
Many enthusiasts like to use the Quad 22 control unit in conjunction with vintage Quad valve amplification, but the output of modern digital sources is far too high for the Quad 22.
This cable solves the problem.
The all gold phono connectorsmust be connected to the 22, and not the source and are a good fit to the undersized phono/RCA sockets on the Quad 22.
The cable should be connected to either the Radio input or the Tape input if a type N adaptor is fitted to the tape input.
Flashback Sales EHG cable is a firm favourite with classic Quad equipment owners.
The normal split on the phono/RCA ends of this cable is 14cm approx. If the phono/RCA sockets are widely spaced on your source equipment, then a 25cm approx. split can be selected by choosing the 'Long Split' option below the 'Cable Length' dropdown.
Quad 4 Pin DIN Plug - 2 x 6 Pin Jones Plugs Performance Cable
Some Quad II power amplifier owners would rather not use the Flashback Sales phono/RCA adaptors for the IIs and prefer instead a single cable solution, to join a pair of IIs to a classic Quad preamp fitted with a 4 pin DIN output socket.
Suitable Quad preamps are :-
33, 34 or 44
This is such a cable, it's a Performance cable and features 2 x phono/RCA plugs and 2 x 6 pin 'Jones' plugs.
The cable at the 'Jones' end is colour coded left and right.
Customers say that Performance cable brings out the detail in the Quad IIs.
The 4 pin DIN plug must not be connected to Naim equipment
