About Flashback Sales Flashback Sales is run by my wife and I and its purpose is to supply
hard to find audio cables and connectors and to share information with
others about Quad equipment.
My name is Dave, and my wife Lyn and I have lived in Doncaster since
1985. I've been making connecting leads for television, satellite, video
and hi-fi since 1990, and I've also cabled up a number of hospital radio
studios. We're both in our mid 40s.
The history of broadcasting and sound recording has been an interest
of mine for as long as I can remember, so I run a hobby site containing
the off-beat snippits of television and radio I've recorded over the years

Lyn owned a pair of ESL 57s many years ago and eventually persuaded
me, after 20 years, to audition a pair, which I did in January this year,
the sound was absolutely fantastic, I just had to buy them.
For her Valentine's present this year I bought Lyn a 33/303 combination
to go with the speakers.
As well as our interest in audio we also enjoy looking after
our 12 cats.
Their ages range from 2 to 17+ years.
All but two of the cats were rescued, the two that weren't are a pair of
extremely neurotic and noisy Seal Point Siamese, brother and sister,
named Idris and Llanddona.
